Aluminum composite panels, also known as
Alu-Dibond, consist of two aluminum sheets bonded together by a plastic core. The panels are UV-resistant, weatherproof, and waterproof, and can be smooth or brushed.
The
Buttlerfinish® aluminum composite panel is distinguished by its brushed surface, which has a unique
metallic look and appears very elegant. The surface is not white, but colored. We offer aluminum composite panels in gold and silver. The panels are 3 mm thick.
Size and drill holes
In addition to the standard sizes, you also have the option of specifying a custom size. Please note that the desired size must be between
minimum possible 15 x 10 cm and
maximum possible 300 x 150 cm.
If you would like your outdoor sign pre-drilled, select the
Drilled Only option when ordering. By default, we offer the signs with four pre-drilled holes. If you require more than four holes, select this option and specify the desired number in the comments field. You can also send us your measurements for the number of holes and/or the size in an email to info@art-trash.com.
Attaching the aluminum composite sign
Like wall signs made of other materials, the Alu-Dibond sign can be mounted in various ways.
If you want to stick the sign on or place it on a surface, for example, select the mounting type
No drilling, no mounting.
If you have already selected brackets to be mounted through the holes, the mounting option
Only 4 holes in the sign is the right one for you. In this case, the sign is drilled at four corners and supplied with pre-drilled 9 mm holes. The brackets are not included in this delivery.
If you would like your aluminum composite sign fully equipped, the option
with spacers and four pre-drilled holes is the right one for you. Please note, however, that this option is only available for wall signs with a maximum size of 90 x 60 cm. The package includes the sign with pre-drilled holes in all four corners, four wall spacers in your chosen finish, and the complete mounting kit. The spacers are available in either stainless steel (15 mm wall clearance) or brass.
The brass standoffs are available with a silver, gold, or chrome finish. The distance from the wall is 20 mm. The diameter is 15 mm for signs up to 60 x 40 cm and 25 mm for larger signs.
