Aluminum composite panels (known as
Alu-Dibond) consist of a plastic core covered and bonded on both sides with aluminum layers. This sandwich construction ensures high stability while maintaining low weight. The material is UV-resistant, as well as water- and weatherproof, making it ideal for long-term use.
The
aluminum composite panel (Dibond) has a white, matte surface onto which your printed design is applied. Printing can be done in two ways: directly onto the panel or onto a film that is laminated to the panel and sealed with a protective laminate. The panels are 3 or 4 mm thick.
Individual formats and drill holes
In addition to the standard sizes offered, the
outdoor signs can also be ordered in custom sizes. The desired size must be between a
minimum of 15 x 10 cm and a
maximum of 300 x 150 cm.
The wall signs are offered either without pre-drilled holes or with four pre-drilled holes as standard. If you require a different number of holes, select the option
Only 4 holes in the sign when ordering and enter the desired number of holes in the comments field. Alternatively, you can send your dimensions and drilling position specifications by email to info@art-trash.com.
Assembly of the aluminum dibond sign
Depending on the intended use, the
aluminum composite panel (Dibond) signs can be glued, stood upright, or screwed into place using brackets. If you wish to glue the sign or integrate it into your own system, select the option
No drilling, no mounting. The sign will then be delivered without pre-drilled holes.
If suitable mounting brackets are already available, the option
Only 4 holes in the sign is appropriate. The sign will have 9 mm holes drilled in the four corners. Mounting hardware is not included.
For a ready-to-install solution, the option
spacers + 4 holes is available, but only for formats up to a maximum of 90 × 60 cm. You will receive a pre-drilled sign with four wall spacers made of stainless steel or finished brass (silver, gold, or chrome), as well as matching screws and wall plugs.
The distance from the wall is 20 mm, the distance from the edge of the sign to the center of the hole is 15 mm as standard for formats up to 60 × 40 cm and 25 mm for larger signs.
