Flag sign with wall adapter for identifying escape routes
According to legal regulations, public facilities should be equipped with escape route signs. They must be easy to recognize from a distance and make it easy to orientate yourself in the building. The vertical
escape route flag sign meets these requirements and ensures optimal visibility. Sign symbols correspond to
ASR A1.3 (2013), DIN ISO 3864, DIN EN ISO 7010, ISO 16069.
The
escape route symbols are printed on a self-adhesive film. It glows for a long time, the luminance is 160 mcd/m². The escape route signs can therefore be clearly seen even in the dark.
The
flag sign consists of a wall adapter and 2 glass panes. The
wall adapter is made of aluminum and painted in titanium gray. The transparent
panes are made of ESG safety glass and are each 4 mm thick. They are clamped close to each other using the wall adapter. The entire sign is 148 x 337 mm, of which the visible area is 148 x 297 mm.
Tip:
Door signs with wall adapter in the same style can be used for uniform interior signage.
Attachment of the escape route flag sign
The
film escape route symbols can be used on one or both sides of the flag sign.
If you only need the
rescue symbol on one side, please select a directional arrow for the front and "No Back" for the other side of the sign. Stick the film on a pane of glass and cover it with the second pane. Before sticking on the film, please check whether the flag plate is free of grease and dry. Finally, mount the wall adapter on the wall, insert the prepared discs and clamp them with the adapter cover.
If you would like to use your
flag sign on both sides, please select the necessary directional arrows for both sides of the sign. You can use one of the 3 variants to attach the foils:
a. Lay the foils with their backs together without removing the protective foil and insert them between the plates;
b. Stick the foils together with the adhesive sides and then insert them between the panels;
c. Glue foils to the outer sides of the sign plates.
Then mount the wall adapter on the wall and attach the shield discs with the foils.
It is very important that the
directional arrows on the flag sign clearly point to the escape route. Below you will find the recommendations for marking the direction of travel and when changing floors.
