Information sign “What to do in case of fire”
When a fire occurs, people often panic and are unable to think rationally or act correctly. The “How to behave in the event of fire” sign provides brief and concise information about the steps to be taken: keep calm, report the fire, get to safety and, if possible, try to extinguish the fire. The sign was made based on DIN 14096 Part A (2014), the symbols used correspond to ASR A1.3 (2013), DIN EN ISO 7010.
Signs “What to do in case of fire” are made of plastic or self-adhesive film. You can choose one of two options – standard or photoluminescent. If the wall where the sign is placed is smooth, the self-adhesive film sign can be stuck to it. The wall must be free of grease and dry. The plastic sign is usually mounted on coarsely structured and rough surfaces, but also on smooth surfaces if desired. The following information is printed on the sign:
1) Report fire. The telephone number should be entered here. The following questions should be answered by telephone: Who is reporting? What happened? How many are affected/injured? Where did it happen? Waiting for questions! Activate the manual fire alarm.
2) Get to safety. Warn people at risk. Take the helpless with you. Close doors. Follow marked escape routes. Do not use elevator. Pay attention to instructions.
3) Attempt to delete. Use fire extinguisher. Use fire hose.
