Canvas prints: works of art for your ambience

The type of picture that is closest to the real work of art is called canvas or canvas. It is quite clear: the fabric made of linen or cotton is taken as the reason for the pictures. In the past, canvas was painted with paints, now the picture is printed, but modern canvas painting affects people like a real painting. Partly because UV and non-ageing colors are used for printing: they retain their freshness and saturation over time.leinwandbilder-kunstwerke-fuer-ihr-ambiente-86_m.jpg Before canvas is printed, it undergoes priming to make the fabric scratch-resistant and water-repellent. Then the canvas is stretched in a special printer and printed. Since the material has a particularly fine structure, the print quality is somewhat lower than when printing on acrylic glass, paper or similar.

After the motif is printed, it is cut to size. One rule applies here: the printed canvas must be larger than the format of the finished picture. The cause is as follows: the canvas is stretched on a stretcher frame and additionally printed parts become edges of the picture, which give the mural a 3D effect. If the motif is printed only according to the image size, the edges will remain white, which may spoil the enjoyment of the mural.

Care for canvas prints

The canvas pictures do not need any special care . You have to dust them regularly with a dry cloth. It would also make more sense if the picture is not hung in direct sunlight. If you stick to these points, you can enjoy the canvas painting forever.
